INTAKE PROTOCOLS
This helps you understand our protocols and procedures, and it helps us conserve our energetic boundaries so that we can serve at our optimal capacity.
THE SEED
In the beginning there is a seed.
A seed holds pure potential for something new to be birthed.
You are the seed and our potential relationship is in the seed stage as well.
Some way, somehow, our paths have crossed and now we are getting to know one another. For this potential relationship to grow and to thrive in fertile soil (the environment), it is helpful for both you and All Love United Church of Healing Arts (ALUCHA) to be clear on where we stand and what we expect.
To start, we kindly ask that you do your due diligence and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the content on our website. It is very likely that most of your questions will be answered in this way.
Next, if you have decided that you would like to work with us in some way, we require you to fill out our Intake Form here.
Please be thorough and don't omit important details in the Intake Form, your answers will help us keep you and our community safe.
THE SPROUTING
Once you have completed the Intake Form, be on the lookout for a text message inviting you to schedule a phone call.
If there is an upcoming ceremony that you are wishing to attend, we require a minimum of 4 weeks of preparation on your end (sometimes longer should there be medications that you need to taper off of).
This means: we need to have a phone call with you at least 4 weeks before the start of ceremony.
We will do our best to schedule a mutually convenient time to have an intake call, but we will not chase you. If you do not reply to our messages, we take this as a sign that there are more pressing things in your life that you need to attend to at this time.
If you fill out the Intake Form and then find that you really are not ready to proceed, this is understandable and totally ok. We do appreciate, however, that you send us a text letting us know that you'd like to take a pause for now. We love a firm 'no' just as much as we love a full-body 'yes'.
THE WATERING
Our Intake Call is a beautiful way to get to know each other.
Phone calls typically last anywhere from 30-60min.
We will determine if now is a good time for you to come to ceremony and all that you may need to do to prepare.
At this time, we will give you a custom-tailored protocol so that you may prepare for your upcoming ceremony in the best way. We are often guided by our plant allies to recommend something very specific for each individual.
If you are going to pray with us in an Ayahuasca Ceremony, it is important that you follow the Dietary Protocols for at least 2 weeks (though, 4 weeks is preferred).
Also, it is imperative that you are not on any medications that may have a contraindicative effect with Ayahuasca. Please check our Contraindications page to determine if the substances you are taking are safe.
We take every precaution to ensure your outmost safety in every moment with us.
However, due to the unpredictable nature of karma, spiritual energy and your unique blueprint, growing pains may occur. Please familiarize yourself thoroughly with our Risks & Contingencies page.
THE GROWTH
After our Intake Call you will typically have a few days to consider if you are ready to commit to praying with us in ceremony (this is another reason why it is important to plan the phone call well in advance).
As soon as you are sure that you would like to sit with us, we ask that you send a donation* that symbolizes your commitment.
At this time, you will begin your preparations for ceremony, we will send you our Info & Itinerary guidelines that will explain more about your ceremony (how to prepare and what you can expect).
More on Donations:
There are many reasons why the initial donation is integral. First and foremost, it is a sacred commitment to yourself - to show up fully, no matter what. In our experience, well-intentioned individuals sometimes let the mind create a thousand and one reasons to back out. When someone offers a deposit, the likelihood of them following through increases significantly. This commitment supports both your own process and the integrity of the container we are called to hold.
Second, by making this commitment, you are more likely to begin preparing intentionally, especially with your dieta. On a subconscious level, your mind has already said 'yes,' and you may notice shifts in your dreams, emotions or environment. This is because the medicine often begins working before you even arrive, bringing forward key themes that will be addressed in ceremony. When you commit with the full force of your being, you begin to magnetize the experiences your soul is ready to face. This often initiates a quantum shift in your reality.
And finally, your deposit serves as a sacred agreement with us that you will be present, as we prepare everything with your unique presence in mind. It takes us weeks of prayerful planning and preparation to create the container for ceremony. We strive to ensure that every detail flows smoothly so each participant can have a safe, supported and transformative experience. The number of supplies, facilitators and meals we provide varies greatly depending on whether we are holding space for two people or twelve. Having a clear and confirmed count is essential for the harmonious unfolding of the ceremony.
As a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based organization, all financial contributions are considered donations in support of our ministry. Your donation allows us to continue offering healing work, deepen our training, and move toward our vision of acquiring land for future ceremonies and dietas.
If you'd like a donation receipt for tax purposes at the end of the year, we are happy to provide one upon your request.
*To reserve your place in ceremony, we ask for a minimum suggested donation which holds your spot. We will let you know the suggested donation amount based on the type of ceremony you will be having.
If you are unable to attend after committing, on a case-by-case basis, your initial donation can be held and applied toward a future ceremony within 12 months. To reserve your place in a rescheduled ceremony, we ask for an additional donation (half of the amount of your initial donation) as a sign of renewed commitment.
Please note: if you need to cancel again after rescheduling, we are no longer able to roll your donation forward. Donations are non-transferable and expire after 12 months.
