VACCINE OF THE JUNGLE
It is said that there was a tribe in the Amazon Jungle whose people became mysteriously ill. The tribe's shaman, Kampu, tried every remedy to heal them - but nothing could bring relief.
Determined to save his people, he entered the jungle to seek guidance from the spirit of the forest.
Kampu fasted and prayed for days until he entered a deep trance. In that state, Great Spirit appeared to him, holding a bright green frog - the Phyllomedusa bicolor (Kambo). In his visions he was shown the powerful medicine that this frog carried and how to apply it to the sick.
The shaman returned to the tribe and followed the instructions from his visions. One by one, all the people were treated - and one by one, they were healed. Their strength and vitality returned and the illness was gone.
